Our Story
Derry Hill is a village in Wiltshire, UK with a pub, village shop, primary school, church, village hall, tourist attraction, and enthusiastic residents who, along with residents from other nearby local villages and towns, formed Derry Hill Theatre in September 2013 - just for fun!
Our first ever performance was in February 2014, "The Lost Book", a bespoke pantomime. This was a sellout and was very well received.
That was followed up with a more serious show called "Kitty's War" in July of the same year. This was a collection of short sketches set in war time to commemorate both the centenary of the outbreak of WW1 and the 70th anniversary of the WW2 D-day landings.
January 2015 saw the staging of the group's second pantomime, called "Knight Fever".Â
"We enjoyed it so much, the show was absolutely brilliant!"
