Kitty's War

DHT staged "Kitty's War" in July 2014.  It was the group's second ever show and a more serious affair compared to their first.  It was conceived to commemorate the 2014 centenary of the outbreak of WW1, and the 70th anniversary of the WW2 D-day landings.

The show was comprised of a collection of sketches based around war time and stitched together with a common thread about the relationship between Kitty and John, who signed up soon after they were married.  There were readings of real letters from WW1 and WW2, re-enactments of a couple of scenes from "Blackadder Goes Forth", as well as scenes from a typical Music Hall of the time with some songs and dancing.
